This is a special order puzzle ring resize service request by Linda Heiner. Linda's special order request is as follows:
"I have 2 gold puzzle rings from Saudi Arabia. One is intact and is a size 5.5 I need it to be a size 7.5. The other ring is a also a puzzle ring from Saudi Arabia, bought at the same time. I wore it so much that the gold wore through and one of the rings broke. I reattached it but not properly. The jeweler that inspected it said to to best of his ability, he thinks both rings are 18 carat gold. So what I am thinking is that the ring that has fallen apart could be used to take gold from to resize the intact ring. I expect it would not need all the gold from the not intact ring to do this. I do not want the resized ring to be soldered but left so it can be taken apart."
Linda will send in the ring to be resized, plus another ring that Puzzle Ring Emporium will use to add the additional gold required to resize the ring. Any unused bands will be returned to Linda.
The purchase price includes the labor to resize and assemble the ring, plus return shipping. Insurance on the return shipment may optionally be selected at checkout. You may also elect to have us place a band on the ring or weld the ring, so it does not come apart. If we band the ring with a metal band, you can cut off the band at any time. If we weld your ring, you will no longer be able to take it apart. If you choose not to have your ring banded or welded, we will place a temporary paper band around your ring, so that it does not come apart during shipping. You can remove the temporary band anytime. These additional options will be presented in the shopping cart.
