In the United States, unakite was first discovered in the Unakas mountains of North Carolina, which is where the name comes from. It is an altered granite composed of pink orthoclase feldspar, green epidote, and generally colorless quartz. It exists in various shades of green and pink and is usually mottled in appearance. It makes for a fascinating puzzle ring! Our PRE-4UN Unakite-L, is a 4-band puzzle ring and is available in Sterling Silver, Gold, or Platinum.
